A short story about Geo-Range
Austin Denning - Owner/Operator

Rooted in Conservation
In the spring of 2024 after earning a Bachelor of Science in Resource Conservation, Minor in Restoration Ecology, and Certificate in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) from the University of Montana College of Forestry; I set my sights on building a long career in federal or state management of natural resources.
Chasing that dream is what landed me in the town of Ekalaka, MT working for the NRCS. Thinking this would just be a stepping stone, instead what I found was a strong community and the love of my life. I realized that maybe federal service wasn't for me, and instead focused on building a family business based on "boots on the ground" conservation.
I founded Geo-Range so that I could use my education, experience, and passion for conservation to have a real impact on not only the land, but most importantly the livelihood of the people that work that land every day. The true conservationists.
